Prior to joining Lexcomm, Hang worked at the Vietnamese subsidiary of a Singaporean company which focuses on schooling investments and promotes business and trade links between Vietnam and Singapore.

Hang has tremendously relevant experience in the legal field, accumulating over 8 years working with the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) and the Legal and Internal Control Division of a top Vietnamese non-life insurance company.

Hang graduated with distinction from the Faculty of International Economics of the Institute for International Relations (now known as the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam). She also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the National Economics University, Business School.

In 2006, Hang was awarded a full-scholarship for participating in "the Pac Rim Summer Seminar in U.S Studies" at the University of California, San Diego.
