Our areas of practice are banking and finance, capital markets, energy and natural resources, projects and infrastructure, real estate and construction, restructuring and insolvency, corporate and M&A, compliance and regulatory, telecoms, media and technology, dispute resolution, tax, employment and benefits, intellectual property.

Due to substantial growth of our legal practice in Vietnam, we seek ambitious, high calibre senior associates and associates seeking a long-term role to join our busy legal teams in Ho Chi Minh City. Candidates preferably possess the following qualifications:

• a superb academic degree in law (LLB) with excellent English language and drafting skills
• familiarity and legal expertise in one or more of the following practice areas:

  -   banking and finance

  -   capital markets

  -   projects and infrastructure

  -   energy and natural resources, including upstream oil and gas

  -   corporate and M&A

  -   telecoms, media and technology

  -   dispute resolution

• track record for client excellence and high performance
• ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well in a team
• personal traits will include an entrepreneurial and pragmatic outlook allied to a strong desire to surpass client expectations where able
• successful applicants for the position of a Vietnamese senior associate will be qualified in Vietnam and have more than seven (7) years experience
• successful applicants for the position of a Vietnamese associate will be qualified in Vietnam and have more than three (3) years experience
• successful applicants for the position of a senior foreign lawyer will be qualified in a common law jurisdiction (ideally UK, US or Australia) and have more than seven (7) years experience
• each successful applicant will have worked as a lawyer for either a leading local and/or international law firm or as in-house counsel in a top commercial bank, oil and gas company, foreign invested enterprise or similar

All of the above positions offer excellent remuneration commensurate with the level of experience of the successful applicants, as well as the opportunity to develop a diverse range of skills and strategic relationships with our clients. This is not an opportunity to be passed up.
